All kayaks, stand up paddle boards and gear must be treated for Didymo prior to the race. This can be done on race day at the kayak start point. If you are practising on the river prior to the race it is still important to get you kayak/SUP and gear treated. From the 14 September you can drop into the Opotiki I-site during working hours and this service will be carried out free of charge.
